IJAD 2024 Pre-conference Workshop

Educational development is a growing academic field worldwide with a diverse knowledge base to reflect the multi-disciplinarity of developers. Many developers want to join the research dialogue with their own contributions, but find the idea of writing and publishing on Academic Development and Educational Development to be an unclear process.

In this three-hour interactive pre-conference workshop, the IJAD editorial team will guide you through the publication process with ICED’s peer-reviewed International Journal for Academic Development.

THIS PROGRAMME WILL HELP YOU EXPLORE HOW:

  • IJAD differs from other higher education journals;
  • to frame your proposal and prepare a strong manuscript;
  • to make your reviewers’ tasks easier from the outset and respond to their feedback positively;
  • maintain good relationships with your IJAD editor.

Throughout the workshop, you will be developing concrete plans for your own research project and you will end with an action plan for the next four weeks of productive writing.
