Dr. Jill McSweeney is an Assistant Director of the Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning and an Assistant Professor of Wellness. She has been working in the area of faculty development for almost a decade, actively publishes in the area of SoTL, the scholarship of educational development, and is a two-time recipient of the Explorance Faculty Research Grant for her work on the ethical use of course evaluation data for research purposes. Jill is a former Executive of SoTL Canada (2019 – 2022) and co-chair of the Ethical Practices of Educational Development (2015 – 2019), a special interest group of the Educational Developers Caucus of Canada. While she has interests in learning spaces and their impact on student and faculty experience, Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and inclusive spaces, and the philosophical underpinnings of SoTL, she is happy to have a conversation about all things teaching and learning related. | |

Dr Kathryn Sutherland is an academic developer in Te Kōtuinga Mātauranga, the Centre for Academic Development, at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington in Aotearoa New Zealand. Her academic development work and research has three main areas of focus: academic working lives; holistic academic development; and working in partnership with students to improve teaching and learning. She aims through her research and practice to make universities more joyous and caring places to work and learn. Kathryn is a Principal Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, chair of the Editorial Board for the Journal of Higher Education Policy and Management and was a co-editor of the International Journal for Academic Development (IJAD) for ten years. She currently serves as the IJAD liaison on the ICED Council. | |

Louise Taylor (PFHEA) is a Chartered Psychologist and Principal Lecturer Education and Student Experience at Oxford Brookes University, where she teaches psychology on the social work programmes. Her research applies psychological theory to understand what makes successful learning and teaching, both in the contexts of the marketisation of higher education and ethnicity degree-awarding gaps. She was awarded a National Teaching Fellowship (Advance HE) for her pedagogic leadership, and is a recipient of the Braveheart Award (University Alliance, 2021) for her work to create anti-racist teaching and learning. She co-edits Psychology Teaching Review and is an Associate Editor for the Journal of University Teaching and Learning Practice. | |

Dr. Michele DiPietro is the Executive Director for Faculty Development, Recognition, and the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning and a Professor in the School of Data Science and Analytics at Kennesaw State University. Dr. DiPietro is a co-author of “How Learning Works: 8 Research-Based Principles for Smart Teaching” (revised and expanded 2nd edition). They have presented hundreds of workshops and keynotes at numerous institutions and conferences in the US and abroad, and their scholarship has been translated into 7 languages. Dr. DiPietro is a former president of the POD Network and a recipient of the Bob Pierleoni Spirit of POD award, the highest honor bestowed by the POD Network in Higher Education. | |

Dr. Carl S. Moore, currently the President of Youniversal Luv Unlimited, is committed to inspiring self-value in individuals and groups. His professional journey includes an Executive Fellowship for Learning Innovation at EdFarm Propel, along with leadership roles at Howard Community College and the University of the District of Columbia. He is a valued teaching faculty at USC's Equity Institute, a board member of the Online Learning Consortium, and a Middle States Commission on Higher Education peer evaluator. As a certified StrengthsFinder Coach and MBTI administrator, Carl offers expertise in leadership development and team building, assessment, inclusive teaching, and faculty development. He is known for creating faculty development units and designing numerous traditional and micro-credential courses in face-to-face, hybrid, and online formats. Carl holds a Doctorate in Urban Education from Temple University, and a Masters in Educational Policy and Leadership from the Ohio State University. | |

Dr. Riley Caldwell-O’Keefe is the founding Director (2017) of the Amherst College Center for Teaching and Learning. Riley provides pedagogical support for curricular initiatives at the individual, departmental, and institutional level including consultations on assignment, course, and curriculum design, and assessment of teaching and student learning. She serves as a consultant and external reviewer for CTL development around the United States and is contributing editor for To Improve the Academy, peer-reviewed journal of the Professional and Organizational Development Network (POD) Diversity Committee. Riley was previously lecturer in the theatre department at Boise State where she served as the Associate Director of the general education program, implementing and assessing a new curriculum. She served 10 years in the U.S. Air Force and drew on this experience for her master’s and doctoral work which she completed at UC Santa Barbara with a Feminist Studies doctoral emphasis. She has taught many courses over the last 15 years including theatre history, performance studies, feminist studies, and first and second year seminars on a variety of topics. She lives in Northampton, Massachusetts with her wife, child, and exceptionally loving bernadoodle. | |

Gabriela Pleschová leads the Centre for Scholarship and Teaching in the Faculty of Arts at Comenius University in Bratislava where she also serves as an associate professor in the Department of Pedagogical Sciences. She is a graduate of Oxford University (2012, MSc. in Education) and the co-editor of the books Teacher Development in Higher Education: Existing Programs, Program Impact, and Future Trends (Routledge, 2013), Early Career Academics’ Reflections on Learning to Teach in Central Europe (SEDA, 2018) and Internationalising Teaching in Higher Education. Supporting Peer Learning (TU Delft, 2022). Her research interests include scholarship of teaching and learning, mentoring, student-centred learning, internationalisation, pedagogical conversations and issues of trust in higher education.
